That’s right: It’s copyrighted, not open-source, use-as-you-please material. Quoting it without attribution is plagiarism. Not that you can’t quote it—but do it accurately, in context, with proper attribution, and please link back to this site. If you wanna republish it, ask permission. If you wanna sell it, I want a cut. That’s all. No harm no foul.

The articles here aren’t fixed; they’re dynamic. That means, like Wikipedia, sometimes they get updated. Sometimes completely rewritten. This isn’t old media! So if you quote me, bear in mind I might update the article all the way away from your original quote. Because when I find I’m wrong, I make corrections.

Credit where credit’s due: Bible translations are linked to Bible Gateway. I use various translations, and anything marked KWL means I translated it myself from various original texts. Usually the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia, Rahlf’s Septuagint, Kiraz’s NT Peshitta, and the United Bible Societies’ Greek NT 5th edition. But I have a lot of other Accordance modules, and might translate from them too. Quotes of other bible texts are copyrighted by their respective owners. Hebrew, Aramaic/Syriac, and Greek words usually link to the dictionaries at Blue Letter Bible. And of course let’s not forget Blogger our webhost.
